Any unused Weekend Internet quotas will be forfeited at the end of the weekend period.

20. What happens if I fully utilise the FREE Weekend Internet?

At 70% utilisation, you will receive an SMS notification of usage level and be reminded that your

base Internet allocation will kick in upon 100% utilisation.

Upon 100% utilisation of the FREE Weekend Internet, you will receive an SMS notification to notify

that your FREE Weekend Internet quota has been fully utilised and any further Internet usage will

be deducted from your base Internet allocation.

21. How can I check my FREE Weekend Internet balance?

You can check your balance by sending BAL STATUS to 28882.

22. How will my Internet usage be deducted on weekdays?

Change of Rate

74. Can I change my existing postpaid plan to FIRST™ Gold Business?

Yes. Should you be bounded by any contract, you will have to pay off the relevant penalty before

you change to this plan.

75. What happens if I change my current plan (CORP) to any of the new FIRSTTM Plan?

You will be charged 1 full month of your package value on top of your bill amount.

76. Can I change my FIRST™ Gold Business plan to another Celcom prepaid plan?

77. Can I, as an existing prepaid customer migrate to FIRST™ Gold Business and will my credit be

carried forward?

Yes, you can and any remaining credit balance will be transferred to your new postpaid plan as a

credit amount.

78. Can I use my credit balance to cover advance payment for FIRST™ Gold Business?

No, you can’t. Full advance payment is needed during registration.

79. Can I, of any existing postpaid plan change rate plan to FIRST™ Gold Business?

Yes, you can.

80. If Principal with existing 1+5 Plan wants to CORP to FIRST™ Gold Business, what happens to the

supplementary line(s)?

Supplementary will be auto migrated to FIRSTTM 1+5 plan or register new FIRSTTM plan as principal.

81. If the principal of master billable account with existing unbillable child with legacy plan (eg:P48Plus)

Cruise executives are taking a measured business approach that preserves cash and improves safety culture in an attempt to put GM’s troubled autonomous vehicle subsidiary on the right path.

The first steps in this rebuilding plan, which includes pausing production on its Origin robotaxi, were laid out in an internal email sent to employees by Mo Elshenawy, who was executive vice president of engineering at Cruise and ascended into the president role after co-founder and CEO Kyle Vogt resigned .

For now, this strategy includes more “realistic” plans, according to Elshenawy. That means focusing on its current robotaxi platform the Chevy Bolt AV instead of the custom-built Origin shuttle that GM started producing earlier this year. GM recently temporarily paused production of Origin. This latest email notes that while development of the Origin program will continue, the vehicle will not be produced in 2024.  The company also is reviewing its layoff plans and will provide an update in several weeks.

While Elshenawy didn’t provide a timeline for when Cruise would restart operations, he did say the company would relaunch in just one city at first. That’s a departure from the aggressive multi-city launch strategy Cruise and GM had been focused on in 2023.

“As we work to rebuild trust with regulators and communities, we’ve made the decision to focus on the Bolt-based Cruise AVs in the near term with a longer term strategy around the Origin,” the company wrote in an emailed statement in response to the internal email. “Once we have taken steps to improve our safety culture and rebuild trust, our strategy is to re-launch in one city and prove our performance there, before expanding.”

The internal email also provided some clarification surrounding its employee share-selling program , which was recently suspended for the fourth quarter. Vogt had reversed this wildly unpopular decision over the weekend, but employees were still waiting for more information. The email sent Wednesday said employees who own the restricted stock units that settled from the beginning of year to October would be eligible for a new tender offer to help with tax qualifications.

The internal email comes three days since Vogt abruptly resigned and about a month after the California Department of Motor Vehicles suspended Cruise’s permits  to operate self-driving vehicles on public roads after an  October 2 incident  that saw a pedestrian — who had been initially hit by a human-driven car and landed in the path of a Cruise robotaxi — run over and dragged 20 feet by the AV. A video, which TechCrunch viewed a day after the incident, showed the robotaxi braking aggressively and coming to a stop over the woman. The DMV’s order of suspension stated that Cruise withheld about seven seconds of video footage, which showed the robotaxi then attempting to pull over and subsequently dragging the woman 20 feet.

Cruise, which had already faced increasing opposition from city officials in San Francisco, soon found itself hamstrung by investigations and pressure to stop operations. Without commercial permits to operate in San Francisco and an internal decision to  pause its driverless fleets  in other states, the company  laid off contract workers , further deepening the malaise.

The Space Force, the sixth and newest branch of the U.S. military, was authorized by Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump in December 2019. The initiative had been shaped within the armed forces and Congress over the previous 25 years, based on the premise that as satellite and space technologies evolved, America’s military organizations had to change as well.

From the start, the Space Force had detractors. Air Force officials wondered if it was necessary, while some political observers believed that it signified the start of a dangerous (and expensive) militarization of another realm. What seemed harder to argue against was how nearly every aspect of modern warfare and defense — intelligence, surveillance, communications, operations, missile detection — has come to rely on links to orbiting satellites.

The recent battles in Eastern Europe, in which Russia has tried to disrupt Ukraine’s space-borne communication systems, are a case in point. And yet the strategic exploitation of space now extends well beyond military concerns. Satellite phone systems have become widespread. Positioning and timing satellites, such as GPS (now overseen by the Space Force), allow for digital mapping, navigation, banking and agricultural management. A world without orbital weather surveys seems unthinkable. Modern life is reliant on space technologies to an extent that an interruption would create profound economic and social distress.

For the moment, the force has taken up a problem not often contemplated outside science fiction: How do you fight a war in space, or a war on Earth that expands into space? And even if you’re ready to fight, how do you make sure you don’t have a space war in the first place?

1. What is Celcom Business Suite?

Celcom Business Suite is a solutions bundle plan. The plan consists of InternetGO™ 45, MESINKIRA, HR Biz Suite Basic, M365 Business Basic, EMS 50 & Business Wireless Gold. It also includes add-on devices such as TP-Link Dongle, Android Smartphone (NFC or Non-NFC) and Android Tablets. Optional add-on solutions are available.

2. Who is eligible to subscribe to Celcom Business Suite?

All new SME customers or customers with no contract are eligible to subscribe to Celcom Business Suite. This is a 24-month bundle contract.

3. If I am currently subscribing to any services from Celcom Business, or if the contract period has yet to end, am I eligible to subscribe to Celcom Business Suite?

Yes, you may sign up for a new line and subscribe to this bundle offer, or you may choose to terminate your current solutions plan. Do note that a termination penalty will be imposed on your current solutions plan.

4. Can I terminate any of the selected solutions in Celcom Business Suite?

You cannot terminate a service/solution selectively. If you choose to do so, you must a termination penalty will be imposed.

5. How much is the termination penalty for Celcom Business Suite?

If you terminate the subscription within the minimum contract period (24 months), you will be   charged for the remainder of the contract, along with any add-on and device solutions (individual Terms & Conditions apply). For Productivity Pack, customers are required to pay an additional RM300 penalty for the TP-Link Dongle device. 

Terms and Conditions for Business Suite

• Celcom Business Suite Bundle consists of more than one (1) solution offered in the Package and each of the applied servicing Solutions STCs. Prices for add-on items shall be as per standard price.
• Customers who subscribe to the Package under SME Business Suite Bundle shall enjoy the tariff and rates offered under the Package as stated in the Service Registration Form – SRF.
• Celcom reserves the right to change the prices, charging construct, and number of users/seats of M365 Business Basic and M365 Business Standard at any time during the contract tenure.
• All add-ons are considered as optional and will not enjoy any discounts.
• Contract tenures for all combos will be for a period of 2 years. Contract tenure for add-on items will be as per current business practiced.
• Invoices are issued monthly.
• The prices for M365 Business Basic or Standard, MESINKIRA and HR Biz Suite are based on licensee fees or number of users.
• Devices are to be purchased separately, subject to individual Terms & Conditions.
• The Package Value (herein after referred to as “PV”) shall be prorated and shall be reflected in the first month’s bill if the Customer registers before the billing cycle date.
• In the event the Customer changes the billing cycle date, one backdated PV and one advance PV will be charged in the next cycle’s bill.
• In the event of early termination, before the billing cycle date, the PV will be refunded based on pro-rated value. However, the Customer shall be subjected to Termination Fee (hereinafter defined).
• The minimum subscription period for the Package under Celcom Business Suite is 24 months from the date of activation of the service of the Package (herein defined as “Period of Agreement”). Celcom shall impose an early termination fee for the remaining months out of the Period of Agreement including add on and device (herein defined as “Termination Fee”). Any additional usage will be charged according to Celcom’s prevalent data rate or SMS rate. Applicable penalty for device under Productivity Pack is RM300.
• Upon reconnection of the Package within 30 days after early termination, the Customer shall be reconnected into the SAME bill and shall continue to enjoy the tariff and rates offered under the Package. A reconnection fee of RM10/SIM shall be imposed on the Customer. The reconnection to subscription of the Package shall be fully terminated upon failure to pay the reconnection fee within the aforesaid thirty (30) days period.
• Celcom’s prevailing IDD/Roaming rates are applicable for international data roaming and IDD.
• The prices displayed does not include 6% Sales & Service Tax (SST), call charges, itemized billing and/or additional VAS subscribed by the Customer.
• For the purpose of Celcom Business Suite Bundle, clause 14 (30 Days Return Policy) of Specific Terms and Conditions for Celcom Business Wireless shall not be applicable.
• Either Party may at any time terminate the subscription to Celcom Business Suite Bundle by giving the other Party 30 days prior written notice. Celcom shall not be liable for any compensation and damages towards the Customer in the event Celcom exercises its right to terminate for convenience. However, termination by the Customer prior to the expiry of the Period of Agreement will always be subjected to a Termination Fee as prescribed herein.
• Celcom disclaims any warranties or liabilities for the merchantability of the add on devices under Celcom Business Suite Bundle. The warranties applicable for the devices are subject to the terms and conditions provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the devices.
• to transmit Bulk SMS containing Inappropriate Content; and/or
• to transmit Bulk SMS which is harmful to Celcom or will bring disrepute to Celcom; and/or to transmit any Bulk SMS which is from and/or for the benefit and interest of any International Source; and
• as a means of payment of goods and/or services other than payment method authorized by Celcom.
• The Customer agrees and acknowledges that the Service shall only be used by the Customer and the Customer’s Clients (where applicable) for the purpose of transmitting Bulk SMS from and/or for the benefit and interest of a Local Source via the Authorized Traffic. For the avoidance of doubt, the Customer and the Customer’s Clients (where applicable) shall not transmit Bulk SMS from and/or for the benefit and interest of the Prohibited International Brands as stated in the Service Terms & Conditions form - STCs.
