Most adverbs end in an -ly and come before the verb in a sentence. An adjective can be changed to an adverb by adding -ly. Adverbs are one of the major parts of speech in the English language. This is our regular adverbs worksheets section. An adverb is a word that describes a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. Adverbs fall into three categories; when, where and how. Most adjectives can be changed to adverbs by adding an -ly at the end. Adverbs are one of the major parts of speech of the English language.
This is our comparative and superlative adverb worksheet section. An adverb is a word that describes a verb, adjective or another adverb. The comparative form of the adverb compares two actions. The superlative form of the adverb compares more than two actions. Often, students will write adverbs in the comparative and superlative form. These comparative and superlative adverbs worksheets give good practice with writing in the comparative and superlative form.
